Because of all of you, your support and all we have been able to accomplish together, in June of this year both Ellen and Jeff received the honour of being awarded the Meritorious Service Decoration of Canada by His Excellency the Right Honourable David Johnston, C.C., C.M.M., C.O.M., C.D., Governor General and Commander-in-Chief of Canada.

Jacob’s Ladder honours Dr. Berge Minassian, MD CM, FRCP (C) as recipient of the Norman Saunders Jacob’s Ladder International Research Prize for 2014.

Dr. Minassian graduated from McGill medical school and obtained his training in Neurology from UCLA.
