Jacob’s Ladder Fellowship Awards 2012/2013

On June 4, 2012 a few of our friends and supporters convened at Il Mulino Restaurant for the Jacob’s Ladder Fellowship Dinner. The purpose of the evening was to gather in an intimate and lovely setting to hear presentations from two researchers, Alexander Aronovich and Konstantin Feinberg, both at the Hospital for Sick Children, outlining their research into neurodegenerative disease, a focus area for Jacob’s Ladder. Each was there to convince us that their research was the one to select for two years of research funding support.

After hearing fascinating presentations from them both, ballots were cast to select the individual research project that would receive the Jacob’s Ladder Fellowship Prize. And the result was.. a tie!! That suited the group just fine. We were proud to award this prize to the two recipients, knowing that our support was directed to important and worthwhile research.

We wish both researchers the best of luck in their upcoming projects.
