This past year was wonderfully medically uneventful for Jacob, longtime friend of Jacob Schwartz.  After spending most of the last year in the hospital, Jake took the time to recover….at home! Thanks to a wonderful friend and teacher, Jake remained up to date on his schoolwork from the comfort of our living room. He was able to resume his weekly swimming lessons, experienced a ride in a motorboat this summer and took a couple of wild laps around the Canadian Tire Motorsport racetrack in a crazy race car.

This school year is off to a fabulous start – Jake is back at Dublin Heights in his last year of middle school.

Jacob continues to inspire and amaze those around him. He never fails to see the humour in a situation and still has the most contagious laugh and warmest smile imaginable.
