SPONSOR SPEAK – JENNIFER GOLDMAN

According to Ellen: How many 13 year olds donate monetary gifts from their Bat Mitzvah to help a friend’s brother? How many families support this gift by matching it? We know of one. Thank you Jamie Goldman and your special family for your tremendous support. Friends are treasures and we treasure you.

According to Jennifer:

How did you come to be involved with Jacob’s Ladder?

One of my daughter’s best friends was Jeff and Ellen’s daughter and it is through that friendship that we have all become great friends over the years. After getting to know and spending time with the Schwartz family, I decided I wanted to become involved with this incredible charity.

What does your affiliation with Jacob’s Ladder and (Jake’s Gigantic Give specifically) bring to you?

Jacob’s Ladder teaches me the true sense of giving. Not only does this charity raise money and awareness for itself, it helps support other charities too. What I love most about Jake’s Gigantic Give is that it teaches children how to give in such a fun and creative way. It provides a means for children to begin learning the art of giving back to those who are less fortunate than ourselves.

What does giving mean to you?

Giving means helping others who are in need.

What is your idea of perfect happiness?

Spending time with my family (preferably at the cottage).

Which living person do you most admire?

This is an easy question! There are two individuals who are truly remarkable – Ellen and Jeff. Ellen and Jeff have truly made a difference in this world and have helped make this world a better place. They both embrace and encompass the art of giving, whether it is in their home, with their friends, or organizing a fundraiser for Jacob’s ladder.

What is your dream job (other than the one that you have now)?

Food critic!!!!

What is the natural talent you would like to be gifted with?

Being a gourmet cook!
